Islamic banking given go ahead in Nigeria
The Nigerian Supreme Council For Islamic Affairs (NSCIA) has dismissed insinuations that the planned introduction of Islamic banking in Nigeria by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has a hidden religious agenda, saying the introduction has no religious undertones and that the move was constitutional and legal.
: “Lately, the Media has been awash with negative reactions from certain non-Muslim quarters to the decision of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to approve the operation of Islamic Banking System in Nigeria along with other Non-interest Banking products. Most of these criticisms are uninformed and unobjective and smack of religious intolerance.
But do u blame us? with all this bombing..now they want a seperate banking system to fund them
Hmmmmm
