Procession For Late Bolanle Adesina

Friends, siblings and well-wishers of Bolanle, the late estranged wife of deposed Deji of Akure, Mr. Oluwadare Adesina, held a procession for her on Wednesday along major streets of Akure.



The procession was part of the activities marking the funeral rites of the ex-queen, who died of cardiac arrest last week at the age of 35.
A statement by the Fadeyi family of Owo and Adesina Adepoju royal family of Akure said the programme would be followed by a wake at her residence, Oba Adesida Layout, Leo Junction, Akure.
The statement added that she would subsequently be buried at her residence.
The deceased's family also said there were grateful to "all those who stood by us during the passage of our daughter and wife.
