Madam Gidado, who hails from Sardauna Local Government Area of Taraba State, set herself ablaze and eventually fell into a well in her residence.
Nigerian Tribune learnt that Mrs Gidado committed suicide on Saturday, due to frustrations allegedly caused by her husband, Yusuf Gidado, after he took a second wife.
The woman, who was reportedly being maltreated by her husband, poured a gallon of petrol on her body and immediately lit herself up before falling into the well.
According to eyewitness, Mrs Gidado was, however, rescued by sym-pathisers, who rushed her to the Federal Medical Centre, Jalingo, where she was pronounced dead.
Please when did nigerian women start commiting suicide over men....I just dont get this..
