                                       Ayo Oritsejafor , CAN President

President of Christian Association of Nigeria, Ayo Oritsejafor, has declared Sunday, June 26 a National Prayer Day for the country.
In his special message after a prayer retreat Saturday in Canada, where he is currently on missionary duty, Oritsejafor “appealed to all Nigerians, particularly the Christians and our Muslim brethren, to, please, observe June 26 as a special day of prayer for our country and all our leaders that God’s mercy and supreme will may prevail over our nation.”

According to him, “We should pray for God’s intervention, mercy and deliverance from every evil machination of the devil and his human agents. The security challenges in our nation need divine intervention now more than ever before. From the look of things, human efforts have failed.
On its part , the Muslim Media Watch Group has called on the federal government to declare June 23 and 25 as work-free days for special prayers and fasting for the country.
The call was contained in a statement issued on Friday in Abuja and signed by Alhaji Ibrahim Abdullahi, the coordinator of the group.

Only God can help our beloved country NIGERIA
